My Beautiful Morning...

I actually did it! Im so proud of myself :) I was up at 5 am, and on the road by 6am headed to catch some nice sunrise pictures in St.Louis. I was really worried that once the sun rose, it would be a gray and dreary day, but much to my suprise it was a beautiful, sunny, clear blue skied day. I couldnt have asked for more. I started off at the Art Museum, it was very peaceful. The sun was rising, and it was so quiet, and such a beautiful view. I then headed off to Tower Grove Park. That was a cool place, although Im sure its much more pretty in the summer when everything is in bloom. It had a lot of ruins and foundations of old homes which is something I love. I cant wait to go back and take more pictures in the spring.

Then I was off to downtown and the Arch. I drove around aimlessly for almost an hour before I found some nice secret parking spots along the Mississippi River where I could take some great pictures of the Arch and the Eads Bridge. The Eads bridge was absolutely the coolest thing I took pictures of today. Every picture came out awesome! I really love how old and rustic that bridge is, such a cool landmark. All in all today was a very fun, and successful day of taking pictures, and I cant wait until next Sunday to go downtown and shoot some Graffiti with Bryan!

Downtown & The Arch

What would St.Louis be without its Arch? Luckily the weather was insanely nice out today, and I was lucky enough to get crystal blue skies which made for some nice shots of the Arch. Heres a few I took, including some downtown pictures as well.

More Eads Bridge....

Here are a few more of the Eads bridge :)

Eads Bridge

These are some pictures of the Ead's Bridge located in downtown St.Louis next to the Arch. This was absolutely my favorite thing to photograph of the day. I love how old this bridge is and still looks. I thought it was neat that all the pictures looked like they came out of an old newspaper even before they were edited. This is a beautiful and historic bridge, and an important St.Louis landmark.

More Tower Grove Pics..

Heres a couple more..

Tower Grove Park

This is a really nice park, it's probably beautiful in the summer. I liked the old ruins of buildings near the fountain, and I came across alot of really old homes. Im excited to go back in the summer and hopefully get some great pictures of ducklings in the pond.

Art Museum

This is the front of the St.Louis Art Museum. I went last weekend with Bryan, and I wished I would have brought my camera, so I had to stop by and take some pictures this morning. Its so pretty outside and in, I love old buildings.

Statue outside of St.Louis Art Museum

This is a statue outside of the St.Louis Art Museum located in Forest Park, such a nice area. I luckily made it just in time to catch the sunrising :) Made for a great picture, I love the colors. This was fun to shoot since I was alone and it was so quiet and peaceful.

Me...Rambling.

Its probably pretty obvious that Im kinda obsessed with my pug Charlie...Ok, really obsessed. He is so funny though, how can you not love him! Also, he loves to pose for the camera, so many of my pictures are of him. Also, this summer when I first moved, I didnt have many friends so needless to say most of my free time was spent with Charlie. I know, pretty lame, but a good thing did come out of that time...All these wonderful pictures! Here is the collection of all my favorite pictures of Charlie.

Tomorrow I head to St.Louis at 6am to hopefully catch a beautiful sunrise. In preperation for this I plan to go to bed as soon as I get off work at 9:30pm. Wish me luck, Im not a morning person, but I read on the weather channel that it is only supposed to be sunny in the morning. I hope they are correct, and that I come back with tons of great pictures. Also, the big dog parade is downtown St.Louis tomorrow, I might try and stop by there. I wish I could take Buckets, however, I have attempted to tie his leash around my belt loop while I shoot, and it doesnt work out to well. He is a strong little guy, and usually ends up pulling me in a million different directions. Sorry bubby, better luck next time :)

Bright Colors

Some of these were taken this past summer when the colors are bright and pretty, and the sun is always shining. If you notice the big, slobbering bulldog, thats Lola. She is an english bulldog, and I took this picture of her dressed as a fairy princess Halloween 2008. Thought Id throw it in here since the colors turned out so bright. Theres no picture I love more, than ones filled with bright, fun colors!

Charlies funny faces.

I think these pictures were taken this past summer. Probably another one of those days where I was bored at home and sitting outside with him. Luckily they turned out cool, and I had some fun editing them.

Little Cowboy

This picture was taken Halloween 2008. It was a beautiful day, so I hauled Charlie outside in his costume and shot some really great pictures of him with all the fall leaves. The look on his face is priceless :)

Guessss Whooooo!!! lol

Guess who this mysterious woman is! haha

Mini Stream

This is a nice picture, I love this little mini stream in my backyard, its so cute and looks so pretty in pictures when there is snow covering the trees.

Another backyard photo..

It took me a million shots before my camera would focus in on this leaf. Luckily I caught it right at the perfect time, when a tiny drop of water was about to fall off.

Fall Leaf Surviving the Winter.

This was another picture I took yesterday in my backyard, thought it was kindof neat to see this fall leaf surviving the winter and still maintaining its color. I will admit I sortof boosted the hue in photoshop, but the original color was still pretty bright.

Springs on its way! Hopefully :)

I took this picture in my backyard, thought it was kindof cool, symbolizing that spring is on its way. Something nice to see when everything around you is gray and dreary. I always love seeing bright colors it reminds me that soon it will be spring and then summer! Cant wait :)

Some Pictures...

These are not new by any means, but I wanted to post them anyways. They are some of my favorite pictures, and of course they are of my dear Charlie Buckets. Charlie is my pug who I love very very much, and he is who this blog is named after :) Im sure there will be lots more pictures of charlie to come since he is my favorite and only live model :)
